Monsoon rains flooded barangays in the lowlands of Gingoog City. Coastal barangays are also being battered by high waves. As of the moment the highway is flooded already and only big trucks and buses can pass through. Rains continue to fall with high winds. Waves are destroying houses in the coastal barangays. Residents from striken barangays are being evacuated in the schools of the city. Don Restituto Baol Central School is estimated to house 2000 families from Barangay 19, 20, 25, and 26. People are still coming to the evacuation centers as the weather conditions shows no sign of getting any better.

People have clean treated water fetched to them by CSWD along with rice noodles and tinned sardines, and only had porridge for dinner. DRBCS is flooded to the ankles too and other schools are getting opened for evacuation as more barangays are getting afffected. Farmlands and ricefields are already inundated and livestocks are left in the flood.
