In spite of the various agencies created by the Philippine government to protect our environment from illegal logging, the problem is getting worst everyday. So that many measures were being implemented to address this prevailing problem of illegal logging yet nothing change. The secretary of DENR Lito Atienza must seriously look into this problem, due to the manifestation of ecological imbalance. He must see to it that he must be dealing with the right people in his Department. I am absolutely disappointed with how our DENR “public servants” perform their duties and responsibilities. Sad to know most of these people pretend to be God Fearing and deeply religious. But I don't know who their God is. To be honest, I really confused what exactly is the purpose of the DENR Check point. Is it for checking the logs and papers whether it is illegally cut or just purely a monkey business? This is not a joke! Millions of pesos coming from the pocket of Juan De lacruz were spent by the government for the DENR people for their salaries and other operation expenses every month if I am correct. But I doubt if they perform their tasks faithfully.

The photo above will tell something of how our environment has been rape by illegal loggers. It pains me when people starts to blame God when there is flood. Probably I am a little bit naive that I don't know whether those who were caught in illegal logging were put behind the bar of Justice. I hope the DENR people will give me an update as to the number of those who were punished.
